DIY Halloween Costumes- Flintstones

  • 1 min read

Who’s already planning their homemade Halloween costumes for this year? It’s crazy to think that October is just a hop, skip, and a jump away. We wanted to share some creative ways in which you can use your favorite clothing brand, City Threads, in your Halloween planning this year.

To get this look you’ll need the following:

City Threads clothing-

Basic boys tee (black)

3 pocket jersey shorts (orange)

diaper cover (turquoise)

Girls cotton camisole top (elf green)

Red baseball hat

Hot glue gun

White Cricut vinyl or white felt

After your City Threads clothing is purchased you can go ahead and start gathering the supplies you will need to complete this look. You’ll then cut out some triangle shapes for BamBam’s shorts and hat, and Pebble’s top. You will also need to cut out dog bones (one for each character). We used a Cricut machine but if you don't have a Cricut these can easily be cut out on felt and hot glued onto the shorts and camisole top. We went the extra mile and used an old box lying around to recreate the flint mobile with our kids' power wheels. What do you think? Comment below if you plan to create homemade costumes this year!
